WELL -- The other women is home and resting but not without causing me some
GRIEF things had been going not to bad, had the bus sold and 1 air conditioner took
a shit .We had stopped at Ellensberg for lunch and let things cool down ,it just doesn't
pay to be nice to a old bus !!! Leaving Ellensberg is a steep climb, right away the temp.
started climbing 230 had to stop 4 times to get to a spot where we could sorta get off
the road Full of water and fan was turning ????? Was able to make contact with a old
hot rod buddy that had just moved to the area ,was 8 miles down hill from us and had
room for the bus and away we went !!! I was thinking that the water pump impeller
had came loose from that shaft but it turned out to be the fan hub came off and didn't
damage the new radiator.After a great visit we headed home with NO more heating
problem THE END

Day 5 The other woman on the move
Well the other woman is sorta on the move I think she is getting back at us for
making her get out in this heat !! After stopping at Ellensberg for lunch we had
a steep pull and she started heating up had to stop several times and wait for her to
cool which took forever. We were able to contact a old hot rod friend that had
moved over in the area and we were only a few miles apart and thats where we are
for the night. We have found the problem and are starting back together, and hope
to be on the road mid day and heading home !!!!!

Day 4 The Other Woman is still resting
Well, In the morning her resting is over and its slated to be a hot one . We were going
to spend a few more days checking out some new to us area but that plan has changed,
since its not really our coach anymore ! So we will top off on fuel and take the most
direct coarse home and treat her with care !! Then comes the unloading it will be like
Christmas, finding things I forgot about.
We were able to hook up with our old hot rod buddy and have a great visit, checked
out the new shop and the Cad project ,will be a neat ride when done !!!

Day 3 The other women RESTING
Today started out kinda slow doing a bit of clean up on the old girl while we waited
for the other guy interested in the Other Woman, you never know if they are going to
show or leave you hanging. This guy was right on time, nice couple, visited abit and
then we did the grand tour. It was easy to till he had done some home work on Eagle
buses and very observant and lots of questions. Just before they left he did say they
already had a bus that they bought from Bart Grabhorn but never finished. Said he
get back with us in a day or 2 a few hours later they called and said they wanted her !!
After all that we took a nice drive around the area lots to see !!

Day 2 The Other Woman on the move
No Snow today !!!
Well we got into Moses Lake, not to bad, so first off the site we choose out of 10
had no power' the ajoining site same thing,[ well darn it] for those with virgin ears !
The lodge was locked up tight but the service panel was accesable and got power
but only 1 air conditioner will work { I will let you think about what I might have
said about that ] Nice quiet ste, slept good. First thing in the morning I just had to try that air conditioner and it came on [happy camper. So coming into the Elks there was a series of
turns following the GPS on the way out to get on 90 so at this one turn it said straight and
I thought we needed to go left, ended up going straight [Bad Mistake ] as vast area this is
they don't have any spots for this rig to safely turn around, so we got the scenic tour and I
mean scenic atleast we were going E, these roads followed property lines lots of 90 degree
turns, glad I have power steering and I think it was getting tired !!!
Ohboy back on 90 and into the Spokane valley, heavy traffic, road construction and
people with a death wish!!! Finding the Elks lodge in Coeur d Alene was easy and got 1
of the last spots with 50 Amp power [nice] got set up, had both airs goings and things
starting to get COOL, so I got a phone call and had to turn that front unit off [mistake ]
and it won't restart,[ Oh another darn ] with a bunch of blanks !! will see what it does in
the morning.when its cool .

The other woman on the move
Hi all
Well its been awhile since the other woman been out, she has had several operations
and has just been a bitch during this time. First compression in the cooling system and
then a air fan clutch that worked for 19 years and now just refuses to work like it has
in the past !!! for the trip we put it in lock mode and it worked great !!!!
So we got out of Dodge about 8:00 things ran good' almost to good and it didn't take
long for the heat of the day to show its ugly face. As we made our way upSnoqualmie
pass the sky started getting dark , lite rain and then snow ,heavy snow sticking on the
road, trucks spinning out on the steepest part of the pass ,we were just holding our own
until we had to stop and couldn't get started again ,so I had to put my co-pilot in the Jeep
with 4 wheel drive we were able to make it over the top what a surprise.
We made it the rest of the way into Cle-Elum found the preset meeting place for the hopeful
buyer only had to wait a few minutes and they arrived. Spent about a half hour looking it
over, seemed like he liked what he saw, just said they would be intouch ???? had lunch at
the little cafe ,it was about 94 then and got hotter as the day rolled on as we attemted to
find the Mose Lake Elks. We got unhooked and parked, just started to get cooled down
and ready for dinner when my dear co-pilot wanted to turn off the little cooling off machine
to use the oven .Well ,if I had it to do over I would have said NO because my air conditioner
never started again SHIT and a few other not so proper words. 1 down 1 to go !!!
