Pretty quiet day, panned out my 5 gal bucket of rocks hoping for a gold nugget
but I did get some black sand witch generally found with fine gold.
Since we have been coming to this ELKS park we have never it full,and this
has created a problem with the warm weather every body wants to run all
their air conditioners ,not enough power ,1 trailer at the of the block ruined his
air conditioner and had to have a new one installed. Our new power management
system quit working and shut off all our power, so I had to wire around it to get
some power, but don,t want to take a chance and ruin a air conditioner without
the systems protection from low voltage warning and shut down.
The car count for the races is still way down, 10 years ago their was as high as
132 cars,this year about 62 cars but still put on a great show
