Day 13 --- The Other Woman On The Move

Today we took a little drive [207] miles, out the Apache
trail, into the Superstition mountains. As the story goes
a young man obsessed with the mountains and the lost
gold, had hunted for the gold every chance he had, piles
of books and maps.had recently sold a small amount of
gold locally Then up and vanished and was found a year
or so later by some hikers with a bullet in his head ?????
As you follow the trail it goes around the back of the
mountain Tortilla Flats a old trading camp, Apache lake
and Roosevelt lake and damn which was orginally stone
in like 1906 but was later redone and is now concrete.
You pass some old Indian ruins high up on the canyon
walls every thing was green and lush from the recent
rains. We decided to drive into Globe a copper mining
town with a nice little museum. We spent quite abit of
time there talking to the host, as we were leaving he started
talking about his wife who had recently passed away .we
were all teared eyed as we closed the door.
As we were heading down the road, the car started pulling
to the left right into in Casino, yes that woman had found
another magnet somewhere, and has been hiding it, but
atleast the Indians paid for our trip and dinner today.
