Day 38 -- The Other Woman On The Move

Today was a great low key day ,good roads, nobody
trying to park in your trunk while your going down the
road at 75 miles, and a very interesting underground
salt museum tour and there was only 3 of us on the
tour and no screaming kids and the people giving the
tour you could understand.
This particular salt deposit, seems to average about 9
to 12 ft  ceilings, with rooms about 80 x 80 with
dividers , so it would be like a waffle iron from a aeral
view, these rooms go for miles. The older part of the
mine they have turned into underground storage for
important papers and artifacts from many famous
movies ,about 175 acres and expanding. The salt is
used mainly for road salt and animal salt licks, now
Mortan salts has a site closer to New Mexico that the
salt is a higher grade and used for human consumption .
