Today we left El Paso in the rear view mirror with no plans
of ever going back and would like to see some kind of trees
instead of scrub brush and those weeds that tumble across
the road with a 40 mile an hour side wind on the bus. I had
wanted to stop at Monahans Texas and see the million barrel
museum, built in 1928 to hold crude oil, a big hole in the
ground and sealed [they thought] lost most of the oil to much
weight and started leaking [big time] but we didn't make it in
time because of a truck fire, only roasted oranges left. lost
alot of time, miles of cars on a back road detour that we were
in the middle of.[ ha ha,we have a bathroom]
