Day 43 --- The Other Woman On The Move

Today we had wanted to do a tour at the Coors brewery but
found out they don't do tours on Wed, so you always need a
back up plan, so off to Fort Collins started in 1862 flooded
out in 1864 , rebuilt on higher ground , in 1877 the R/R came
to town and the town just kept growing , about 25 neat old
building that have been very well kept, and along with that
comes Ghost stories. So the new part of town has built
around the heart of the city with a pop. now of 144,000.
From there we headed over to Boulder to check out the
area after the bad flooding last year, now my co-pilot has
mapped out a big loop ,said we would end up in this old
mining town called Blackhawk at 8200ft but she didn't
tell me everything about this town but I figured it out when
we rounded the corner, yep its a Casino town not 1 but
about 10 of those money sucking places .I thought I was
pretty safe after I got those casino magnets from her but
after 48 years she has a few tricks of her own.
Well she lost her money but we had a good dinner to finish
off the day.
