museum, I almost pasted on this one BUT I'm glad we went.
Now this isn't a large museum but they have a nice building
with 6 old steam engines , and misc cars but what they do
have is one of 3 V&T McKeen Motor Car now I have seen
a boxy looking thing that carried mail and a few passengers
but this is a step above, it does not have the original motor
or trans because this is used and displayed alot . The original
motor was a marine engine , which was a reversing rotation
motor to be able to back the coach up but it wasn,t very
reliable to restart when they turned it off to go the other way
so it got a little 3208 CAT diesel with auto trans.
On up to Virginia City, now Silver City and Gold ?? looks like
they are close to getting dug up by the mine , Virginia City is
a old town ,left old and it draws the people, I think it is called
a tourist trap built on a steep side hill .
So on the way back to our home on wheels my co-pilot out
of the clear blue sky says, I can't go to Reno without going to
a CASINO I would never hear the end of it, well we went to
a casino and I watched her[throw] her money away.Now she
is trying to tell me I'm bad luck for her gambling hobby!!!!!!!!
