A little voice is saying go west old man and I am going to follow that voices advice
Washington has the rain but I am tired of this wind if you open your door best hang on
need to glue your hat to your head and shit blowing everywhere far worse than
Quartzsite why they don't have thousands of wind mills making power is the question
of the day.
With that said, this morning we headed out for The Flaming Gorge national recreation
area which took us into Utah, with some great scenery working our way over to the
Flaming Gorge reservoir that stretches 91 miles in length, the damn construction went
thru 3 presidents with Lady Bird Johnson dedicating the completion. The damn is 503ft
high and wider than the empire state building is tall. The rocks balancing on some of the
cliffs are just waiting for some body to give them a little push.[JK] The reservoir is
legendary for big fish and many record keepers.
Tomorrow we are heading for Odgen, hopefully while all those town people leave town,
we will sneak in,and not have to deal with them.
